What does it mean to morph into a lizard in a dream?

I was grabbed by what was I think Aliens. They put a weird gun into my ear and then shot something into my brain. I was then slowly morphing into a lizard. from the waist down I was already morphed. spots of scales on elbows, knuckles, and right below my bottom lip. The strangest thing is while being shot I had a memory of a dream within a dream that this had already happened to my girlfriend.
